He's Not Mad At You
Hey sister (and brother), He's not mad at you.
I don't know if you're like me, but it can be real easy to overthink everything. Anytime someone I love is upset, I instantly question, "What did I do? How can I fix it? Should I have said that? Did I forget something? Are they mad at me?"
I can't tell you where it stemmed from. My mom didn't have anger issues towards me. She was never mad at me, I can rarely remember seeing her mad. But, maybe it stems from abandonment and rejection childhood trauma. Or, maybe it stems from watching my mom question these same things about herself...
Did you know we carry the weight of our parents? We carry our childhood trauma into adulthood... but you don't have to hold onto it any longer. You can let it go.
He's not mad at you.
It doesn't matter what you did yesterday, He's not mad at you.
It doesn't matter what you said yesterday, He's not mad at you.
It doesn't matter if you walked away from His goodness before, He's not mad at you.
Maybe you have a dark past and you think the world doesn't want you... but He does... and He's not mad at you. He wants to welcome you home with open arms and a huge heart to love you with.
Run to Him, it's not too late.
